Operating Principles....
An air cushion is established by liquid pressure
pushing the diaphram upward. This allows air to
enter the chamber. The balancing air cushion keeps
the diaphram centered at mid-stroke.
During operation, the diaphram(s) flex within
the mid-range position, absorbing and equalizing
discharge surge.
If pressure changes in the system, the air cushion
pressure compensates, automatically increasing
or decreasing. If liquid pressure is released,
air in the suppressor chamber exhausts into the
atmosphere.
Properly sized and installed, Versa-Surge provides
virtually surge-free discharge flow.

Smart Start Anti-Shock Valves
Reduce damage to diaphragms and other moving parts by eliminating shock load conditions with Versa-Matic's Anti-Shock Valves. Operated manually or remotely, Anti-Shock Valves enable the pump to start smoothly and gradually, minimizing the risk of vibration damage on the pipe system and pipe fastening. The risk for caviation during start-up is also significantly reduced.

Filter / Regulators / Lubricators

They also control the amount of lubricant reaching the pump through the airline, eliminating over-lubrication and reducing wear.

Oil Detect Switch (Click for details on Oil Detect Switch and Alarm Panel)
The Oil Detect Pump Switch Is a stand-alone pump controller,requires no expensive electrical panels, will operate any pump up to 1HP includes built-in ON and OFF deferential of 2” or 6”. An industrial grade switch for any pump application used to control water pumps in elevators, utility, marine, and industrial sump applications. Installation will prevent hydrocarbons from being inadvertently pumped into the environment and oil will not harm or contaminate this capacitive technology. The Oil Detect Switch can be an integral part of the pump assembly or a stand-alone component wired to the pump or a control valve. The sensor is a totally a solid-state electronic unit in a watertight case and is easily installed and maintained. The sensors come with 2” or 6” differentials and are unique in that they differentiate between oil and water, thereby allowing maximum elimination of water without pumping oil that may be floating on its surface. |
