Oil water separators are systems used as an efficient method to separate oils and some solids from a variety of wastewater discharges. They are typically installed in industrial and maintenance areas and receive oily wastewater. Our separators can efficiently aid in the removal of gasoline, oils, diesel fuel, crude oil, vegetable oil and almost any type of oil that is heavier than water. The effluent from oil/water separators is typically discharged to either a sanitary sewer system or a storm sewer. Properly designed, installed, and operated, oil/water separators provide a treatment system for handling oily wastewater that prevents the entry of unacceptable levels of contamination to a storm sewer or sanitary sewer system. AFD-55 / AHP-55 Series
Filled with MCM-830 or MCM-830P modified clay media it eliminates trace oil from your wastewater.
It will adsorb both free oil and emulsified oil, and is frequently
used as a pre-filter prior to other carbon filled vessels
that are designed to remove oily contaminates. The AHP-55
is a high-pressure vessel that may be configured with up to
six drums.

Ecologix has developed a patented polymeric surfactant technology that is applied to all Oilfree filter cartridges and related technologies. The Oilfree surfactant solution removes hydrocarbons from water, emulsified pollutants from water, PCB's, BTEX, oily sheen, synthetic and natural oils, solvents and organically bound metals from water.
